How to Get Started
We make beginning your beauty education as simple and welcoming as possible!
To start, click here or call our admissions office to let us know you’re interested in joining our program. Once we receive your information, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a campus tour. This visit is a great opportunity to explore our professional facilities, meet our instructors, and see what makes Carolina College of Hair Design such a special place to learn.
During your tour, you’ll have the chance to complete your application and pay the $50.00 non-refundable application fee. Download the application, complete it, and either mail or bring it to us in person. In order to have your application considered, you will need to pay the $50.00 non-refundable application fee. We ask that you come back in to submit your payment. We accept cash, check, or credit card. At this time, if you are ready to commit to the program, you will also pay the $100.00 non-refundable enrollment fee to lock in your spot.
Once these fees have been paid, you’ll receive an official acceptance letter by mail.
Don’t forget to complete your FAFSA to determine your eligibility for financial aid, including grants and low-interest student loans.
After You Apply
To confirm your spot, simply call our office to commit to the program and reserve your seat at orientation. At orientation, you’ll:
- Learn more about our programs, policies, and expectations;
- Complete your final enrollment paperwork;
- Pay your $300.00 down payment; and
- Get excited for your first day of classes!

Enrollment Checklist
Ready to enroll? Here’s what you’ll need to do:
1. Schedule your campus tour online or call.
2. Tour our campus! Bring these items with you to your tour:
- Government-issued photo ID;
- Accredited high school diploma, GED, or official transcript; and
- Social Security card (no photos accepted).
3. Submit your application and come in to pay the $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
4. Commit to the program and pay the $100.00 non-refundable enrollment fee to lock in your spot.
5. Receive your acceptance letter, call to confirm your interest, and reserve your seat at orientation.
6. Attend orientation, complete remaining paperwork, and pay your $300.00 down payment.
Please note: Applicants must be at least 17 years of age to enroll.
